Public Relations

Our communications strategy is designed to meet the objectives of our event concept and also establishes the following; Stakeholders, Messages, PR / Marketing tools and plans, Resources and Timescales.  It also establishes the context and purpose for the event evaluation survey. These are important for the event as without promotion, and and a plan for media advertising, there will be minimal interest and word spread about our event , and it may not be as successful as we hoped.

The event page on Facebook, which was regularly updated with act announcements, countdown images, sponsor posts and other details.

An example of Facebook Insights which can be used to track what posts on the event page lead people to click the ticket website link.

The University of Auckland Comedy Club's post on their Facebook page, which shared details of the event to potential attendees who show interest in comedy shows.

Mental Health Foundation's post on their Facebook page, advertising Live at Malt

Information cards provided by the Mental Health Foundation can be placed on every table at the event
