To sell tickets for Live at MALT, 8Events has chosen to sell through EventBrite, an online ticketing service. Using a custom url ( liveatmalt.eventbrite.co.nz ) is an efficient and simple way for potential guests to remember and search to find our official ticketing site.

The choice to use EventBrite proved to be effective as the website is easy to use as a attendee and on the management side of things, which is good considering accessibility was a key factor 8Events strived for when developing the event.

As a courtesy to sponsors who wish to attend Live at MALT, access passes can be created. By creating a discount code 'CREW', tickets are discounted 100% on the EventBrite ticket purchase page. 

The price for the tickets was decided to be a low charge of $20, as during the development, headline acts and mc were not confirmed. A greater profit could be made by increasing the price, however there may be less ticket purchases as part of the target market for our event is students on a budget.

The frequently asked questions section outlines and answers commonly asked questions by attendees or potential attendees. The FAQ’s limit the amount of contact attendees have with the organisers. For the EventBrite page, the questions are compiled into paragraphs to shorten the description so it is to-the-point and simple to understand.

Q: Is parking available at the event venue?

A: Free on street car parking will be available on the streets in close proximity to the venue. There is also a car park located on Hakanoa Street that will be available for the duration of the event. If you are intending to drink at the event we strongly suggest the use of an Uber or Taxi

Q: Will Tickets be available on the night?

A: There will be door sales available for the evening. These will be priced at $25, although we recommend getting in quick to secure your spot for the evening by purchasing $20 tickets at liveatmalt.eventbrite.co.nz.

Q: Is alcohol and food provided with the ticket?

A: As a part of your ticket you will be entitled to a FREE house wine, house beer or soft drink of your choice. Once you have claimed your free drink, drinks and food will be at your own expense. 

Q: Can we pre-book a table for our group?

A: We recommend you get in early to secure your spot as there are no allocated seats

Q: Can I bring my children?

A: Children are welcome to join for the evening although viewer discretion is advised due to the nature and environment of the night. For ultimate enjoyment of the night, book in your babysitter!
